Title:

Program Management Quality Engineer

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree in related discipline preferred. 5 years expereince in quality field required. Fixture design experience and 3D CAD operation required. 5 years in metal stamping environment preferred.

Skills:

Minimum one (1) year expreeince with CMM PC-DMIS and VIRTUAL DMIS.
Knowledge of inspection and quality measurement devices, including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, etc.
Experience with gauge design
Knowledgeable of GD&T and blueprint reading required.
Knowledge of APQP & PPAP submittal process required.
Knowledge of 3D CAD system including translation to and from, Catia, Solidworks, ProE, IGES, STEP, and Para Solid.
Knowledge of metalforming process using progressive and transfer tooling, MIG welding, and resistance welding.

Shift:

First

Duties:

Program CMM in PC DMIS.
Perform inspections of parts and gauge certifications.
Coordinate quality aspects of new projects with customer, McGregor Metalworking Companies, and Program Management.
Establish a quality measurement plan with customer prior to product launch.
Participate in design reviews for tooling.
Responsible for all gage design and prcurement.
Submit quality plans and all information needed by customer via customer established process.
