Punch Press Operator

Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Skills:

Knowledge of inspection and quality measurement devices including micrometers, calipers, etc. Blueprint reading required.
Previous factory experience highly recommended.

Shift:

Second

Duties:

Operate production punch press machinery or other production related functions.
Process components as assigned and place in proper packaging as specified by customer in production packets (tubs, skids, boxes, etc).
Periodically check for quality of product and maintain proper reports.
Detects and reports defective components or questionable conditions to production coordinator or quality department.
Regulates machinery by setting and adjusting controls.

General Description:

Steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection required.
