Weld Technician

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Skills:

Welding experience required. Certification a plus. Robotic welding using Motoman, Design Tech or OTC welders preferable. Programming using Fanuc highly recommended. Knowledge of destruct tests and other weld quality measurement techniques required.

Second

Duties:

Set-up and operate robotic welders. Problem-solve welding or fixture issues, trouble-shoot and maintain machinery.
Inspect welded products and conduct quality tests to ensure weld meet company and customer standards.
Record inspection and production data.
Assists engineering in testing and evaluating welding equipment, new procedures, products, and practices.
